SO's younger brother moving in??

Question

My SO wants to let his 18 year old brother move in with us to finish HS and work with my SO. We have kids and I'm a bit iffy on the whole thing bc i feel like our privacy will be a bit invaded. I feel as if i won't be able to be myself or wear comfy clothes i usually wear since it was only us before. I'm also sceptical bc his brother has liked me before and I don't want him trying anything (bc i won't stand for it) and having to tell my SO and make things bad between all of us. How would you feel? I need  advice and opinions. 
Btw, we are in our early 20's.

As long as you make your boundaries known before hand... Friends, rent, expectations, girlfriends, drugs/alcohol, everything... I would even put it on paper... My 24 yo brother came to live with us for 6 months and it was terrible because i didn't think i needed to put in boundaries but he was expensive to live around... Ate so much food.. His dog destroyed things.. Had fuck buddies over.. Completely disrespected our home right after we lost our son...

He will be a room mate, not your next child and those expectations need to reflect that

I'd request a trial run to see if things will work.  Give the situation a month if after 30 days any problems have arisen then say no to the entire thing.

My hubby's younger brother came to live with us because their parents had enough of him not taking care of his diabetes or himself. We set boundaries and a few rules and he disrespected every single one of them. He brought girls over and was inappropriate with them around our 2 year old son. He only made it a week before he was asked to leave.

My younger brother came to stay here shortly after that and let me say he respected every boundary and rule we had. He had a job (which was why he moved in here), paid for his own things and helped with our son when I got switched to night shift.

It boggles my mind that my brother and I had absentee parents and no boundaries or rules and he was very respectful of us and our home. And my husband and BIL have great parents and he has zero respect for anyone or anything. My hubby has nothing but respect.

SET BOUNDARIES AND RULES! He may be your BIL but it is your home and family!

I can somehow understand your concern but I personally think family is family I wouldnt seperate into 'my family' and 'his family' or 'my sister' and 'his sister' so yeah its normal that you will probably feel a little annoyed but he's your husbands brother.
Give it a try I'm pretty sure he wont be flirting with the mother of his nephews or nieces lmao.

Does the brother not have anywhere else to go? If that's the case then I understand, he's wanting to give his brother a fighting chance. It definitely is different with somebody else living with you. And I understand why you're wondering about it. Does he know his brother has been interested in you?
