Short shorts. Boyfriend doesn't like them!

So I wear shorts during the summer obviously and my shorts are short but not too short. My vag and butt don't fall out of them! Well my boyfriend is making a big deal about my shorts! He's saying that I shouldn't be showing that much leg off to any men beside him. But it's okay for him to walk around shirtless, and I said then he can't walk around shirtless and he laughed like it was a joke. But I was being serious. If I can't wear my shorts he can't go around shirtless. Females are going to be looking at him shirtless just as much as men are going to be looking at me in shorts! Then he tried saying if it was okay for women to walk around topless he'd let me but it's okay for girls to wear shorts but he's bitching over mine. He makes no sense!
