Broke the news today to my mom😬

My mom asked where all these boobs came from? Her next question was are you pregnant? I was at her house in her kitchen. She was sitting luckily and my SO was diagonal from both of us as if we were making a triangle. I was standing up. After she asked I turned my eyes to my SO then back to her and said yes. She shook her head and said NO instantly. Oh I felt like a disappointment and wanted to cry but kept it together. That was hard as all I've done is cry lately. So she gets up walks out the house, walks all the way down the driveway. I'm thinking oh God what now. I walk to the end of the driveway and we walk together with my SO back up to the house. We stand in the garage for a moment of silence which seemed like 10 minutes but it was probably on 2 minutes just all looking at each other in an uncomfortable way of not knowing what to say to each other. My SO breaks the ice and says I know this is a surprise do you want to go outside. He then says I was expecting a bowling ball to fall on my head or something. She goes a bowling ball I don't think so but maybe a lacross ball. My younger brother plays lacross. She then says well when is the baby due? I said do you really want to know? She said yes. I told her your dads bday Oct 16th. She stood for a moment then told us congrats and gave us both a hug. The initial reaction made me want to run for the hills but I can say it is a big relief at 14 weeks that she now knows and I don't have to hide it and that she did not tell me I am ruining my life and what not. Do you ladies have any stories like this?
