What is an acceptable number of guys to have sex with? I'm 16 and have had sex with 17 people. Have been called a slut and nymphomaniac. Is 17 too much???

I wouldn't say it's to much but at 16 you should just enjoy being young you really shouldn't be worrying about sex at all but if you are gonna have a very active sex life plz just be safe

A lot of these comments surprised me. You're 16 years old and have already been with 17 guys? Yes, that's a shocking number. You're only 16 years old, slow down. You don't have to give it up to every guy you see.

In most cases I'd say its a lot but I like how you embrace being 'a bit of a slut' power to you baby girl. I'm not saying you are a slut, I'm just saying I like how it doesn't phase you. If you're happy and you're being responsible then do you.

Yes that's a lot I mean you are still a teenager. I honestly think teens shouldn't be having sex, especially with that many guys! I lost my virginity when I was 18 years old, I'm now 21.

It depends why you're having sex with people. I saw in your posts you had a very bad experience, including rape and emotional cruelty by 2 men, with your first partner who was a bit older, around 12-18 months ago. Have you dealt with your feelings & the impact of this?
If yes, and you're happy then live life as you please and be safe.

As long as you're being safe and getting tested, i see no reason for limiting yourself.
No one has to know your number. I've had sex with 3 people (only because I'm a stickler and won't have sex with ANYONE unless I see their test results, even though I use a condom.) girls usually have a lower number of partners because our society has made women believe that they should be "ashamed" of something completely natural.
I know of men who have had over 40 partners, guys encourage and support each other when it comes to sex while women berate and talk crap about other women. Double standards are stupid!!! 
Would I personally sleep with that many people? Probably not, because I highly doubt I'd get that many guys to show me test results hahaha, but I'm just anal about that stuff. I still see nothing wrong with having a "higher number of partners" and anyone who does is just following bs they've been made to believe
