My brother and his wife (both white) are unfortunately racist. He is alot more vocal about it.

Well yesterday he asked what name did we pick out for our boy. I told him Dante. My husband is mexican, I'm half. He gave me a look I expected....like "you fucking kidding me?" It's not like their opinion is gonna change our minds.

Just wondering what your views on the name Dante are? Do you think it's a name moreso for a certain race? Is it a good name?

We liked it because it's an old name, has a mythical-kinda meaning to it (Dante's Inferno).
