Relieved!
Our naughty lil monkey decided to stop moving a for a few days, so we had to go in to be monitored. Naturally, the minute they put the monitors on it started having a dance party in there and did its best to kick the damn things off. It seems that it had a growth spurt and is now weighing about 4.8lbs!
However, it meant they decided to set a date for our C-section. Unless it decides to arrive early, our wee monster will be extracted June 8th. Just six weeks left to go! Time to make the final lists and preparations!
Got to finish the garden, wall mount the baby monitor, tidy & rearrange the lounge to fit the Moses basket and swing, finish writing end of term reports for my English class, sew up some nursing clothes for me, and some car seat blankies for other pals who are expecting, finish the baby cardi and shawl I am knitting, as well as book travel back home to visit my Granda for his 90th birthday this summer. I also need to clean the house thoroughly and fill the freezer with nukable meals for post-c-section ease of eating.
What have you guys still got to do before your bub/s get here? All silly wee things? Or big important stuff?
