IUD Period more cramping & heavier??

I have the copper IUD (1.5 yrs) but I was on the pill before that for ~10 years. So, if you're comparing to the pill, yes, much heavier and a lot of cramping. Pre-the pill, it's about the same.

I have noticed in the last few months I've had a lot of random non-peorid related cramping. I have an appointment next week to get that checked out...
