Questions about baby bath products

So with all the drama going on with johnsons I don't think I'll purchase or use it for this baby. I did however use it for my daughter, well aveeno. She had real sensitive skin and would get red bumps easily. I'm worried about the same thing for my baby boy due in October. I really want to try the gentle wash+ lotion from shea moisture for first few months. Has anyone tried it and had their baby have a bad reaction? I'm looking for reviews/opinions on other brands. And the scents that smell great! Once baby is 2-3 months I'll switch to scented as long as it doesn't irritate. Any input??
