Is everyone pre washing all their newborn's new clothes? I'm dreading it & honestly I like the crisp, fresh off the rack look😩😩😩

We washed all of our baby's clothes. Just because they put flame retardant chemicals on them in the factories and I'd prefer not to have my little guy's skin exposed to such harsh chemicals.

Yes of course! There could be all types of chemical residue from the manufacturing process, plus shipping, packing, unpacking, and just people touching the clothes once they're on display. Wash it! It's really not that. Just keep it in a bag and once the bag is full throw it in the wash. This way you're not overwhelmed with loads of laundry.

Yup right here. And no they are not fresh and clean for the lady who said that 😂 they been stored and touched and kicked and walked on and exposed to boogers and who knows what else while being on racks on the store as well as factories and storages

If I didn't buy them then I won't.  I want to be able to take them back with tags if they're not the right size. Not all babies are born into newborn sizes.

Haven't done it yet since I have a while to go, but I will be washing clothes! Probably just 0-3 months though until I need more

My mom is a saint and washed all of the clothes I've gotten up to 3 months for me even though we have some time to go (I'm 27 weeks).

Definitely need to wash everything. It will only look crisp and new for about 10 minutes into them wearing it anyway!
