I'm 8w5d and the ultrasound tech wasn't able to find a heartbeat and could barely get the baby. Anyone have something similar to this? I hate that the tech had to do it and not my doctor. Anyone with experiences similar to this? Just need peace of mind.

I'm an ultrasound tech and the measurement looks incorrect to me. Like she's measuring the yolk sac and fetal pole together. It's hard to tell when it's not live though.

Aside from a perinatologist, I've never had my actual Doctor give me an ultrasound. That's what the ultrasound tech is there to do. The dr doesn't even do the Doppler, her nurse does.

Might be to little still. On my first baby, I had to do the vaginal before we could hear her heartbeat and I was 9 weeks. We couldn't get the heartbeat on the outside.

My Dr. Gives me the doppler and gave me my ultrasounds too. But you may either be earlier then you thought or unfortunately it may be an mmc. Good thoughts your way.
