okay leaving baby in NICU?

I'm having trouble coping with recovering from my c-section and leaving my sweet baby in the NICU. everytime I see a picture of her I start crying because I miss her so much. Will this get easier?

If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here. I currently have a daughter in the nicu born 4/15 at 30 weeks. My 3 year old daughter was also in the nicu she was born at 27 weeks so I've been through this before. The first time is definitely very scary & emotional. It's definitely hard knowing you can't always be around for your baby in the beginning & others having to take care of your baby. I don't think it necessarily gets easier but as your baby starts hitting the milestones needed to come home its exciting. Hang in there momma ❤

My son was born at 30w, and I cried all the time initially. Hormones are high and it is really intense in the NICU, and hard to adjust. Ask if they have a counselor to talk to; ours had a NICU support group which was so amazing. Hang in there!

My mom had her twins 8 weeks early and they both stayed in NICU but she was discharged after a couple days. She called them daily, three times a day to check in the babies and would go up there at least 3 times a week (she had ten other kids so everyday wasn't an option) and they always were extremely nice even with her calling so much.
