You can feel for parts of your baby, an should be able to work out position from how baby kicks. To determine location, if you feel a hard part that's baby head, if under your breasts you can push down a little, and it feels soft, nothing hard more than likely it's baby hands or feet. My baby head down as I feel a hard bulge above my ladies parts, and when he turned I felt a lot of movement. Ultra sound scan has confirmed he's head down. Another way to tell is just stating st your belly when baby moves, you can sometimes tell which body parts are which. Good luck

Just went for an ultrasound Friday at 29 weeks and 2 days. She was head down. I'm pretty sure I knew when she had turned, because there has been more pressure on my bladder, no kicks to the cervix, and getting out of bed was a bit more uncomfortable than usual. About 2 days before the ultrasound is when it started and also felt her move ALOT. I'm pretty sure she's still head down. (Believe I felt a foot higher up near ribs)
