Clomid vs femara vs letrozol What worked for you??

My doctor has mentioned all of these if we aren't pregnant this month.  I've researched all of them and I've got a long list of pros and cons.  But I want personal experiences.  What did you like or not like and why?

Isn't femara the same as letrozole? It's just the generic version. That's what I'm taking. I'm on my second cycle of it. Symptoms are not being as intense this cycle on it. It has bearable symptoms. I heard clomid ' s symptoms were worse. Good luck and baby dust!

I used letrozol (generic femara) and got pregnant on our second round. I had no side effects, and my RE said that studies have shown that Femara has had more promising results in a shorter amount of time. Good luck!

I've taken both and sadly have had no successes from either. Femara has way fewer side effects than Clomid in my experience and I didnt have the cm issues with femara either.

No major side affects to recall. Maybe a bit more cramping than usual but still tolerable with Advil/Tylenol

Letrozol is the generic name for femara. I've tried it for 8 months at 7.5 mg with no luck. Moved on to tamoxifen this month with ovadril trigger and monitoring ultrasounds. Fingers crossed

Clomid doesn't do anything positive for me and the side affects were horrible. I have an RE appointment on May 10 to discuss other options.

Has anyone's RE talked about long term studies?  I have more trouble finding information about kids (past infancy) who were conceived on these drugs.
