can i use a regular thermometer to get my bbt?

Ehhh, I used a normal thermometer-  the only difference is the number of decimal places (98.0 on a normal thermometer is 98.00 on a bbt).  I could follow my cycle with a regular thermometer,  but it wasn't as exact or detailed as it would be with a bbt.

No you need to pick up a basal body thermometer. They can be gotten at most stores for around 8 dollars.

Me too, but sometimes if i take bbt twice it shows 2 different results 😓
