When to feel excited?

Hi Mamas,
I'm currently 8weeks 1day pregnant with my rainbow baby🌈 I am beyond thankful, and blessed, but also still terrified. I want to love this growing life every second I can, but I'm still so scared to get attached, with the possibility of losing this one too. So I'm asking mamas of rainbow babies...at what point did you allow yourself to feel excited and less terrified with your rainbow baby? 💙🙏🏻 prayers and sticky baby dust to all who need! ☺️

I go back and forth between being excited and terrified! I'm only 5wks along and I lost one at 4wks and my first at 7wks I think next month I'll feel better about everything. But I keep telling myself it's out of my hands and just try to send positive vibes to my baby and telling her you're strong and wonderful and growing so well.

I'm 13 weeks today and I'm still terrified but slowly starting to feel a connection with this baby... Of the fear of this one being ripped away too is always going to be in the back of mind

Congratulations! 
I completely understand the mixed emotions. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, followed by a chemical pregnancy 5 months later. After another 12 months of trying we turned to IVF and I'm now 37 weeks pregnant with our Rainbow. 
I think the fear that something could go wrong is always there, but making it past the point we lost our first bubba was a huge turning point. 
I then relaxed even more at 20 weeks, because it seemed like we were now counting down the weeks to bubs arrival rather than how many weeks pregnant we are.

I am 14 weeks, 4 days...I will be devastated whether I "let myself get attached" to this little one or not if I lost him/her...I am still freaked out but I have a fetal doppler and can check baby's heartbeat when I start freaking out but I try not to use it too much! Baby's ears are developed and he or she can hear now so I have started to talk to him or her. Once the first trimester was over I felt a little better but I think unfortunately when you've suffered losses, that worry never goes away :-/ All you can do is take it day by day and count down til your next ultrasound! Congrats on your rainbow...Try to enjoy your pregnancy!
