Eating the placenta?

Ive heard of this and just curious how many people are going to do it, Im undecided, it skeeves me out a little. lol

Right after I gave birth I told the doc I brought a cooler and she could just toss the placenta in it hahahahha I wasn't serious of course it was pretty funny she was like uhhmmm okay... And got all quiet hahhaha

I was thinking about it for a while, but a friend of mine had hers encapsulated, and said that every time she burped all day, she could taste it! 😨😨😨 no thank you! I'll leave that one.

I plan on having my placenta encapsulated. I have been very emotional throughout my entire pregnancy and I get really Scared of postpartum.. Though there is no scientific proof I have heard from so many woman who have personally said it helped to balance them out after birth. And even if it is just a placebo effect, I will do anything to try to remain "normal" after baby is born..

I'm researching encapsulating mine as well. I've been all over the place with my hormones and want to prevent PPD if I can. Especially since I'll be returning to work a month or so after
