Labor signs?

Can some of you ladies please tell me how you knew you were in labor? I've been having pelvic pressure & painful Braxton hicks along with diarrhea for two days now & I'm 34 weeks. I'm worried but I don't wanna go to the ER looking like a dummy ... So please if you could share with me about how you knew you were truly in labor, I would appreciate it!

I had a few false alarms before real labor.. I went to the er because I had no clue and better safe then sorry. I knew real labor hit when I woke at about 2am went to the bathroom wiped and noticed extra discharge that was light pink. Called the hospital and they said early labor and I could wait at home or come in. My contractions were pretty close together also. I went into the hospital since it was a blizzard out and I was past my due date. Good luck!

I went into full blown contractions!!

I was having period like cramps for 2 days before I went into labor.  The day before labor I had some bloody mucus discharge.  The day I went into labor I was beyond exhausted, my water broke at home and I didn't start having contractions for about 2 hours after my water broke.

Avoid the er completely go to labor and delivery.  I friggin hate the er. Ob is way better for that stuff

My doctor did a membrane sweep on a Wednesday my husband and I came home I went pee and it looked like a period. Thursday night I finally fell asleep I woke up around 12:30 I felt cramping went to use the washroom and a bunch of warm liquid came out it wouldn't stop my water broke!
