How many csections have you had?

Question

Any complications? I had my first child a few weeks ago (csection), and due to a small pelvis and not being able to progress my DR recommends I have all my kids via csection. But I want a large family and multiple csections worry me.

I have had 3 and I will have my 4th one in August. I didn't have any complications with any of them and I healed up fine. I hope and pray everything goes well in August when I have my 4th one and that the recovery and healing process is just as fast and good as it was with my other 3.

I'm on number 4 and pushing it. I've had two huge bleeds post c section that were life threating. We are going to actively try to prevent it this time rather than wait to see if it happens. This is my last though as anymore and I'm seriously risking it. Everyone is different though. Some have more some are advised to stop at 2. My last one they thought they were going to have to do a hysterectomy to stop the bleeding. Luckily they did not have too.

I've experienced 1 c-section and I have a friend who has had 4 and she's perfectly fine and able to do everything as normal as before. C-sections are tough to recover from but your child is always worth it. Go for what you want.

I've had only two C-sections but I've had friends that had four C-sections and they said they're perfectly fine but you need to be careful and I would suggest that you talk to the doctor and make sure👶🏻.

It was after my third that they saw it. I developed preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and they did the cesarean 5 weeks early. I'm high risk because of these factors. I have a history of not making it to the scheduled cesarean. I don't feel like anything is different with this pregnancy. I don't feel any worse. The vomiting has been aweful. Lost 12 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. Been dehydrated and put on an iv twice. But my last pregnancy was the same way. Hopefully, preeclampsia doesn't happen again.

I think as long as you give your body time to heal between csection it will allow you to have more my sil had 5 in 6.5 years. Her OB told her if she got pregnant again he would drop her as a patient. There has been way too much damage that she would most likely die if she got pregnant again. With #4 & 5 there was a lot of bleeding almost needing hysterectomy both times

I've had one. My incision became infected and I had internal bleeding. I bruised really badly all down my legs. I lost so much blood I needed a transfusion and had to be on antibiotics, Lasix (to get rid of the excess fluid from the infection) and have wound packing in my incision for two weeks. Dealing with my complications afterward was so much worse than the birth.

I've had 2 and I will be having my third  on June 27th. I was 15 when I had my first, 19 with my second, and I'm now 23. My doctor said because I'm young and I healed well that I could safely have 2 more after this one, but she doesn't suggest me to have more than 5 in all.

Two emergency sections... 
My second son was born at 34wks. I had a total placenta previa and lost 4.75 LITRES of blood!!!!... 
My second born at 38wks and I had a placenta Acretta and lost 3.5 LITRES of blood!!!.... Safe to say placentas and I don't get on!!!.. ( I had retained placenta with my first baby )... Xx
