How to ask your mom to get you pads?

I remember when I was like 11 my mom gave me a period care package. It had a book to talk about all kinds of puberty stuff like hair, bras, including my period. Pads and liners, a cute little bag to keep a few in, a couple tampons, midol, sanitary wipes, and a cute little note telling me to come to her when I get my first period and not to be scared

Here is how... "Hi mom. I'm bleeding from my vaginal region because I'm not pregnant... Help me and buy me some pads....?" she will know what to do from there. Good luck!! Hope she says yes! Throw in that you aren't pregnant to see if she will buy you the 48 pad pack instead of the 20! Maybe even buy the winged ones if she is feeling crazy!

Dear god please don't even think about losing you're virginity any time soon if you can't ask your mom to get you some pads. I know it can be embarrassing but no one understands like you're mom or mother figure. How else does she expect you to get them if you can't drive yet? Don't have a job yet? Etc.

Just let her know. I usually leave a note or something in her purse or on her pillow. Then she'll get what I need and leave it in my bathroom.
