Success with IUI?

My husband and I went to the fertility specialist this week. My FSH was at 12.45 with decreased ovarian reserve. We completed 4 cycles of Clomid without conceiving. The Dr recommended we do IUI. What have been others experiences with IUI?

Hi! We've done two iuis and got pregnant the second time. I'm three weeks pregnant!! I have low amh levels but it worked.

We did two iui cycles, both failed. We decided to go ivf at that point more as a financial decision since the success rate is much higher. Currently in the tww since transfer.

Six failed iui cycles, success with the first ivf cycle. Wish we had gone to ivf sooner!

I have diminished ovarian reserve too and my FSH is 6.9. My DH has poor morphology too. My RE recommended IVF and after researching other options, I found that woman with DOR would not have success with IUI's because of the above factors stated. Plus, we want the highest probability of success! Good luck to you! Keep us posted.
