Chronic Back Pain before pregnancy?!!

Hello ladies! I've had very bad lower back pain possibly due to my last pregnancy. I have never mentioned it to anyone or have consulted with a doctor regarding this pain. I feel like it's so bad but I've delt with it over the years. It's not scientifically proven that the epidural might of cause this. My husband has to pop it for me all the time and put pressure on it. I've now been trying for or second baby. I'm scared that this pain could cause miscarrage or have complications because of it. Could I get through it? Should I mention this to my fertility doctor who I'm seeing? Or a regular MD? Help?

I had back pain on and off before I ever had any kids however after having my daughter (2nd pregnancy) my back pain got 100% worse and was a constant thing instead of every once in awhile. With my daughter they had to try about 5x to get my epidural in. I've had 4 babies and luckily it didn't get any worse after the epidurals with # 3 and 4. Granted number 3 I down don't make it to the hospital so I couldn't get one. With this pregnancy I had to switch from ibuprofen 800s to tylonal and it's been good so far.

It could of been where your baby was sitting, my friend her first child always say in her back, and it's never been the same, it's made it so it's really odd, but she had her second baby, like a charm, just go in and talk to your doctor they might do an X-ray or something :)
