What is the scariest part of going into labor and motherhood?

I've been TTC since June 2015 and I have yet to truly think about what the scariest part is about labor and when my little one is here. Any advice?

For me, it was the contraction pain. They intensified very quickly for me. One hour I had two and they were pretty spread out and the next hour it was like full blown pain. They checked my cervix once and it was go time. No epidural, just fentanyl and something for nausea. Wasn't bad after the fentanyl and now it's just sore down there when I wipe or shower but besides that I'm fine. It's kinda weird how calm I am actually lol.

This is my second and I'm honestly more scared about how sore I was after I had my first than the actual Labour. He bent my tail bone coming out and my boobs hurt sooo much after I had him. Didn't help that my best friend told me the chest pain is worse the second time around lol!
