Advice needed.

I will be 10 weeks tomorrow with our first child. All of last week I had a bad cold with fever. Day four of fever I called my dr, she saw me, gave me antibiotics promised me they were safe to take. Now, 4 days later I have a yeast infection. This is my first one, is it normal to have light spotting? I only notice it when I wipe(tmi sorry!) thanks for any input.  I am worried something may be wrong.
