Foster adopt a child? Yes or no?

Weve been having a tough time concieving no luck with it. But not yet , cycle day 57 and still mo period-_-
Weve been married since Dec 2014.

We probably will concieve at one point yes, however in my heart i know i want to adopt a child also. EVERYTHING in me yerns for a child and one to adopt as well.

Im a stay at home wife and my hubby is in the marine corps in California, US.

We have our home and our dogs. He is 23, and i am 21.
If my Husband agrees to adoption should we ? Yes or no and why?

I think it's a great idea. There's a lot of children that need a good home and to be loved. I think it could be a wonderful start and if you conceive, it'll be even better. :) good luck!

I did fostering for 10 yrs . I greatly enjoyed it in the beginning but I eventually closed my house because the system I a full of crap.

If you plan on adoption through the foster care system, it can take up to two years. I'm not sure about the time length for just fostering.

I would do it in a heartbeat if my husband would agree to it. I say go for it, there are so many kids in need of a good home.

Yes! 
My husband are going to chose the same path as you! We want to start the process this fall after we move. We are hoping we can choose a path that leads foster care into adoption. Adoption can take a few years, so we are hoping to fill that gap by fostering a child that is ready to adopt.  We are beyond excited!

Yes, adoption is amazing. You'll love the baby and you will take care of them as if you gave birth to them. But be careful because it's a lot to just drop a child off at your house and the rest of your life is changed forever. Don't be scared though.

If you're unsure, I'd try fostering first. And, cool bonus, if the parents of the child you're fostering can't shape up, the agency can help you adopt.

Yes! My in laws tried for 12 years before fostering and then adopting my hubby and his brother. My hubby was 6 months old and brother in law was given to them within minutes of being born.

Giving children homes and love is the best gift you could ever give! Without my in laws I shudder at the thought of then men they would have been!
