Ovulation

Hello all! I have a question... the entire week that glow has stated to be my ovulation week, I had taken ovulation tests to check and never had an lh surge. Is this abnormal? I haven't done this before, I have 2 kids but we didn't "try" to have them. I want to aim for a boy, so we really need to get as close to ovulation as possible.

After my period ends I'll begin testing twice a day again to see if I can figure out when I ovulate. But why isn't it when it's supposed to be?!?!?!
