Need perspective
So we were told we were miscarrying around 6 weeks so we named our baby based on name meaning and now that that the pregnancy is healthy, we are keeping the name. It's a Irish name meaning gift from God and a Hebrew name put together with an apostrophe. All my family and friends have been subtly rude about the name. They say it sounds too black (we are white, Irish and German) And that our daughter will have a hard time finding a job based on having her name on an application.
1: screw them. The name is beautiful, will not change, and who care what ethnicity it sounds like it might be?!
2: has that been a problem for people to be discriminated against because of their name and people not knowing you?
