How important are labels in a relationship?

Hmmm... I don't understand the question. If you mean how important it is to have labels then I would say... I think when you're young you want to be labeled as a guy's "girlfriend"... When you get older it doesn't seem to matter that much. In my case, I did want my boyfriend to say "you are my girlfriend" or "do you want to be my girlfriend?" we sat down and had a talk about it and it turned out he already thought of me as a girlfriend. Keep in mind he's older and guy's don't really ask you to be their girlfriend when they're older. It's just sort of known.

As long as you're both on the same page and understand exactly what's going on between you two, it's fine. But it's definitely not okay if one person thinks you're just FWB and the other person actually thinks you're in a relationship or something.
