Is it okay to drink Ensure?

I'm due June 30th and in my entire pregnancy I've gained only 2lbs. In this third trimester I cannot eat anything because EVERYTHING gives me heartburn so bad I vomit. I have a hiatal hernia and before pregnancy, Ensures helped me with the heartburn. I've tried all meds that I can while pregnant but no luck. I've also talked to my Doc and she refuses to prescribe anything 😔

My doctor recommended it with my first. That or boost (I thought boost tasted better)

Yes Ensure is protein and vitamins. If you don't need to restrict sugar then drink it. If you need even more weight drink ensure plus.

My dr has me drinking 2 Ensure Boosts a day to try to put on weight. I've had the same problem with my pregnancy, except I started underweight was able to put a little on and now am consistently losing weight. However you can get those calories, do it!
