Pulled muscle in belly?

Is it possible to pull a muscle in your lower abdomen? I've have bronchitis and when I had a bad coughing spell tonight, I hurt something on the left side of my lower abdomen. If I cough, sneeze, or move it hurts so bad.

Yes it's possible unfortunately. I had a chest infection a couple of months ago, coughing so hard I pulled a muscle across the top of my stomach and had bruised ribs also. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh yea! Totally possible my mom said she pulled a groin muscle when 9 months pregnant with me by barely doing anything. It's all the relaxin hormones.
