Tums for heartburn?

Are Tums any good at easing heartburn? I'm 32 weeks and have been prescribed other tablets by the doctor but they haven't been working so I want to try something else as the heartburn has become unbearable the last week or so.

Tums are the only way I've survived my pregnancies! Doc always gave them the ok. The medications never seemed to help me but if I took tums...sometimes around the clock...I could function

I use them. When its bad I have to take two every hour or so though which is inconvenient.

We have quickezz over here think it's the same thing helped me last time I even sent my partner down while in labour to get some as stuff they gave me didn't work (hopefully a lil light at end of tunnel) I didn't need them after that one dose during labour until preg with this one

Tums are fine but I highly recommend Zantac if tums don't help.

Omg if the tablets that your doctor prescribed didn't work you screwed 😆. I'm not making fun of you, but of my self because my heartburn is so bad 😭. I went from tums to Zantac and they work. I was so over taking so many tums a day and now I take about 2-3 Zantac a day 😁. Good luck
