Back labor?!
Okay ladies. I'm a little lost for ideas here. I'm 34 weeks and 3 days in. Starting this past Friday I started experiencing period like cramping pain that lasted an hour and a half without easing up. I tried moving around, changing my sleeping position, Tylenol and icy hot cream. Nothing helped. It got so bad to the point where I was crying and calling the on call OB. She told me to go in and get checked out because it never hurts to be safe. Well I didn't go because I felt the possibility of being told its false labor was more upsetting then the pain I was having. I ended up taking a warm shower which eased the pain a little bit enough to fall asleep. Since then I've had tightening of my stomach, nausea, and this back pain that just will not go away. It's constant but it gets stronger and then dulls down after a while. I've tried ice and heat and many other things. Changing my position doesn't help. I have no idea if I've lost my plug. But I know my son is not head down. So maybe this pain is just his head pushing on my spine? But wouldn't something calm the pain down? I'm losing sleep the pain is so bad. Can anyone relate or share some insight? Please and thank you!!!
