Period after pregnancy?

Hey all- I'm 10 weeks pp and breastfeeding and already got
My period! Is this normal? Does it mean I could technically get pregnant again? We obviously plan to wait a bit before ttc again but, just curious!:)

Totally normal and breastfeeding is not a birth control even if you didn't get your period while breastfeeding you could still get pregnant.

Hi .i was the same got my period about 8/10 weeks pp thought it was still the bleeding but that disappeared after around 6. I am exclusively bf but I hear periods can return back to normal or irregular which I think mine are . Not to much information but thought I’d share 😊xx

I breastfed and got my period at 9w post I breastfed till my son was 18 months and my period  was always irregular I'm now pregnant with my second and it came as a shock b cause Breastfeeding lowers the chance but it can happen.
