Increase in movement at 37 weeks?

Hi ladies! Anyone experience an unusual increase in baby's movement near the end? I haven't eaten or drank anything out of the ordinary that would make him move so much, and it's been going on pretty much all day. I know movement is typically a good thing, but it's been really painful at times and easier to keep track of when he's not moving.

Im 37.2 and feel the same. Saw my mifwife yesterday she said its a good sign that the placenta if fully functional and baby is healthy, its a myth that movement decreases at the end im fully engaged and feel him all the time to the point its sometimes painfull

Yes!!! I actually posted something similar earlier today. It's been really painful actually. Yesterday it seemed weird how much he was moving. Nonstop it felt like and all the movements hurt!!! I'll be 37 wks on Friday.

I'm the same I've felt an increase in movement the last couple of days I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Hoping he's wriggling his way down ready!
