Low amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios)

Hi all,

So before i start, im with a gyno because im a slightly higher risk pregnancy. My daughter (6 years now) had to be taken by emergency c-section at 34 weeks because i has little to no amniotic fluid. My doctor had notoced this at about 30 weeks.

My current obgyn knows this. Now pregnancy nr 2. I went in yesterday due to some back pains and stomach aches. He checks the baby but also notices that the amnio is kind of on the low side, but nothing to worry about. Im 18 weeks. Now...since i went through this with my daughter...i definately have something to worry about. This condition seems to reaccur 1 out of 4 times if a previous pregnancy ended like this. And nobody knows the cause or really how it can be treated. Now im just looking for someone who has had the same...or anyone who knows someone who went through this. I was a happy camper, till i heard this news. I was stupid enough to read about it some more online, and it states that the earlier in pregnancy this occurs, the smaller the chance of survival.
