Is it wrong to expect my husband to clean the bathroom

Ever since we got married I am the one who does this thankless job of cleaning bathrooms. Today I felt so disgusting looking at the pee marks under the toilet seats and almost cried. I told my husband everytime I do this disgusting job and today it's way more for me to clean. He said not to worry and that he will clean today. But by 930 he took a shower and went to bed. I felt so furious and cried but didn't say a word to him. I cleaned it myself 😔 now and took shower and now lying down in a separate  room. I don't feel like talking to him.Why couldn't he honestly do me the help I asked for? Is it always a wife's job? Is there a way where he could share this responsibility atleast sometimes
