So at dinner tonight with some family members we were talking about what we were doing for Mother's Day for my husbands mother. Well, my husbands stepmother asked what he was doing for me (his wife and mother of his two kids) and his reply was she's not my mother...
On Mother's Day, his plan is to get all his sisters and brothers together and take his mother out to one of her favorite spots for dinner. I was told i can share the spotlight dinner with her (mind you, we don't click well) because it's the type of food I enjoy. Hmm. Great! Love you too honey!
He thinks I'm selfish and out of line for being upset with his remarks and that he was just joking.
I don't need anything special but the fact that he said that to me was so out of line.
Just venting....
