Vaccines?

I'm due June 26th with a little girl! I found out very late, 24 weeks to be exact!! I've never been anti-vax, but I've been doing an awful lot of reading (why have I done this to myself, UGH!) and now I'm a little worried. Any other FTMs with me??

The choice is 100% up to you. Vaccines do carry risks, as does foregoing vaccines. Do your research and make the decision you are comfortable with- don't make this choice based on another's views and opinions. Forums are probably not the best place to go as this is an issue most women feel too strongly about to acknowledge the other side. Good luck!

Honestly, no. I feel really strongly about giving vaccines. I would recommend knowing your pediatrician's policy on vaccines to make sure you're both on the same page.

I wouldn't trust any articles unless they are from reputable science journals.

And those are only going to tell you to vaccinate.

If you're reading negative articles on vaccines, chances are it's not from a trustworthy source.

Vaccines so not prove to prevent anything. No written proof.   They are filled with mercury and alluminum and other poisons. I'm not here to preach. But please read your vaccine inserts and get informed.

I am 100% anti-vax. After researching the reasons behind it, where it originated, and what is actually in them (among other knowledge I have of the government's/elite's plans- look up depopulization agenda; agenda 21 you will find actual interviews not just typed articles.). Due in November and my husband and I are both on the same page about everything.

SIDS and vaccines aren't connected. There's a lot of factors for SIDS. The only vaccine I am wondering about is Hep B because I am negative for it and will be asking about it at my next visit.

You could talk to your pediatrician about a modified schedule too, so your baby will get all the vaccines but spread out a bit more and not so many at a time. I'm considering that, just because they can also make them not feel well and I imagine getting 4 is more likely to make them feel sick that getting one or 2 at a time.

If reading about vaccines scares you, try reading about what happens to a newborn when they get whooping cough. Or any other preventable disease.

Ftm mom here and I was never vaccinated as a child(never had a single vaccine in my life) because my mother was and is an anti vaxer. After doing my own research and looking into facts vs. Opinions I am vaccinating my son.

The protection far outweighs the few risks

It is absolutely up to you. I will do doing some vaccines but not all as I feel some carry a high risk and really aren't necessary. But it's all up to you, keep doing your research and trust your gut(:
