When it's time to move up in diaper size?

KRISTINA • 👣
This might sound like a dumb question but my daughter is going to be 4 months on the 25th and she's currently wearing size 1 diapers. I guess my question is how do you know when it's time to move up in size. I know the weight is on the box but that doesn't seem to help for me right now. I feel like size 1 diapers fit her fine around the waist but are a bit snug on her chubby thighs. When I change her diaper she has little marks, is that normal or dose that mean time to move up in size?  I have tried a size 2 on her but they seems a bit too big and might leak. I want to stock up since Cosco has a sale going on with diapers but I don't want to buy size 2 if there still a bit to big but I don't want to buy size 1 if there's 192 diapers in the box and she might grow out of them within the next couple weeks. Lol help. #momproblems #diaperproblems

If it was me I'd still stock up on size 2 and store them! Maybe get some size 1s, too? I donate all my unused to small nappies (I'm in the UK, I can't cope with the word diaper, lol) to food banks. I imagine you'll be using them soon. My son was big and started in size 2s!!

Just looked at the chart- yes that are different. He started in your size 1s. The weight ranges on ours are much wider!

It may be different as I'm in the UK? They are probably slightly different sizes!!

Ps , if the size two diapers are leaking, try closing them snugger& having the diaper over the belly button and halfway up the back! (Saved me so many up the back poop messes too)

For me I knew to move up when he started leaking quickly. Moved up a size and leaks stopped.

My six month old is in size four 😳😳but I usually buy Huggies little movers and go by weight.. They're pretty damn accurate, and the diapers stay in place and don't bunch up& leave creases .. Good for fat little thighs 😊😊
