How early is too early to test?

I have 5days left until my period us suppose to come. I wana test so badly but i dont wana do it if its to early & i might get a negative

For best results test the day af is due. If you can't wait that long I'd say 2 days before at the earliest.

I didn't get my BFP til 12 DPO. It's best to wait a few more days if you can!

I'm due in 5 days too! I'm going to test tomorrow with the First Response. The package says 96% accurate 4 days until missed period and 99% accurate 3 days until missed period. That's high enough it should be pretty accurate. This is our first month ttc so I'm a little more anxious this month since I've never done this before. I will make myself wait in the future if we don't get pregnant so I don't have to spend so much $ on tests.
