Pain with induction or natural labor?

I'm curious to hear from the moms that have experienced both going into labor naturally AND being induced. Pregnant with #2 and was induced with my first. Really hoping we don't have to go that route this time.

Main question... Was the pain of contractions the same with both or was the induced labor worse? I've heard people say that induction is harder on your body and the contractions can feel more intense. Any truth to that? My induced labor was brutal, even with an epidural.

Induced is way more intense.

I was induced with my first and naturally went into labor with my other four. I WAY prefer natural labor. Induced contractions are way more intense and last way longer. Also, my only baby to stress out during labor was my first. I think it had everything to do with my labor being induced.

My mother in law went into labor naturally with her first and had to be induced with her second. She did no pain medication with either and said the induction hurt WAY worse, especially because they broke her water shortly after starting.
