Help. Anemia?

I am 2weeks PP. I am weak, exhausted, get chills and the shakes. I did lose a good amount of blood at delivery and they said I would be anemic for a while. But I'm not sure why at 2 weeks it is hitting me this hard. Do you think it's anything else?

Could just be that the blood loss is catching up to you and the iron deficiency is more apparent now. I was tested in the hospital and my doctor said that I was anemic and needing iron supplements. I remember thinking "that's weird, I've felt totally fine". Well, I'm almost 2 weeks pp and for some reason, it's starting to hit me. I felt like I was going to pass out in the store the other day, I suddenly got a hot flash, feet and hands started sweating and I was dizzy..... It was really strange. Then I remembered that I haven't been taking the iron my doc recommend and it all made sense. 
So yea, take an iron supplement with a vitamin C source (like orange juice. This helps the body absorb the iron) and if in a few days you don't feel better, I'd call the doc just in case....

Another possibility is massive blood loss.... Not sure how much blood you're losing but if you're soaking a pad every hour, I'd call the doc....

Take iron & vitamin C pills(it will help absorb the iron).
