Husband throwing up blood

So he went out with some friends after like 7 months since our baby was born and he came home being tipsy and threw up in the toilet and there was like literally blood he didnt fight or something and I'm kinda concerned now he's asleep and I wanna know why there was blood.

That didnt just look like blood it really was he had some on his cheek after he threw up and it was really blood what he threw up.
