Need Opinions!

I was supposed to start my period on 5/2. The week before my expected period, I've been having slight cramps and I still am to this day. I've been gassy, bloated, my lower back hurts and have been breaking out. I took two tests. Both came out negative. Me and my husband have been TTC for three months now. Just wondering on maybe if it will take a while for a test to show positive.
