Anyone with pprom experience??

I started leaking at 16 weeks. Went to Er many times to be sent away saying I had a uti. Fast forward 18 weeks check up apt it was confirmed in fact I was leaking. Baby has 1.4 cm left. Such a scary situation. All doctors all saying to terminate I tryed to long to give up now. She's fighting so will I.

I hope you can get some answers and find a doctor who is as willing to fight for your child as you are. 24 weeks is the start of viability. If you can make it that long, every day after will give your child an even better chance of a good outcome. Good luck mama! I will be wishing all the best for you and your family.

Im no doctor of course, but I looked it up and found this info/tips. Maybe discuss some of this with your doctor, switch doctors if you have to, ect.

Can they do an amnioinfusion? With lacerated ringer IV fluid. We used to do those at my LD unit but can't remember how early.

I'm so sorry! Yes it's a good option and will keep baby thriving. And yes it will leak out so you'll have to be on bedrest. If that's something you can/are willing to do. Good luck and keep me posted.

I have had prem babies with my waters going early but not that early. Also, I've know people go to term and the fluid leaking a while and all fine. I was under the impression the fluid refreshes every 3 hours ?
