Opinions on giving baby eggs?

Question

My daughters pediatrician said do not give her eggs, honey, and cows milk until a year old. Well she's almost 12 months old and I totally forgot about the eggs and gave her a bite of my scrambled eggs and it didn't affect her at all. Did you give your baby eggs before a year old?

They say that to avoid triggering potentially life threatening allergies.  If she was fine then don't worry!!

Eggs are fine, I have my son eggs at 7 months old.
It's just in case they have an allergy so if there was no reaction you're all good

Honey is a definite no because the baby's gi tract isn't mature enough and it can cause botulism. 
Eggs are really only an issue if there's family history of allergy, there's no family history for mine or hubbys family so we'll probably do that around 7 months. 
As for milk, I'm not 100% sure why but the baby should still be getting formula or breast milk so it's not needed

I've been giving my kid eggs for a few months now. As long as their isn't a history of an egg allergy in the family the risk is fairly minimal. You can also give them cows milk before 12 months aswell, just a couple ounces here and there and make sure they are getting formula or breastmilk still. The honey is the one you don't want to mess with. Not necessarily because of an allergy but because of the risk of botulism (sp?)
