I'm a Therapist and even I have a journal. Journaling is the one of most useful things a person can do to help balance them emotionally.

Studies show that journaling negative thoughts promotes negative feelings. It can be a vicious cycle. 
They say that if you are going to journal, write down what you are grateful for, what happened that was good that day. Sitting down and reliving those good thoughts promotes positive feelings 😊

I write when I want to.i have two journals.i had to put my first one away because it hurt so much to open it up.i kept reliving my miscarriage with that one so I started a new one that I am trying to stay positive in,while also being honest with how I feel

Definitely! It's not an everyday thing but I write about the tough stuff or weigh decisions. I also keep a manifestation journal where I put goals and ideas.
