I was prescribed Metformin for my PCOS but have never been able to take it regularly because it makes me sick as hell. I started teaching this year, so I'm hoping if I start taking it this summer, my body will adjust enough to it by the time school starts back up that I'll be able to function enough to do my job (I could NOT function before because of the stomach upset). How many months does it usually take for your body to adjust? Will it ever not make me sick?
