Any teen mums?? It's long....

Hi girls!! Firstly, Being a FTM, and a teen, means I've noticed that since my pregnancy was announced to my closest friends they have been "different" towards me. I mean they don't include me in anything anymore, don't invite me anywhere, always make snarky ass comments! My favourite comment was " your pregnant you can't do anything fun anymore". Sorry but I'm pregnant I can still go out I can still do things, yes okay maybe I can't do some things a teen does like drink/party, or even go places like theme parks but I can still go out to the cinema if you ask, I can still go to the beach, I can still go on holiday!

Is there any other teen mums out there that have noticed this to?? And advise or generally telling your story would be great!

Secondly some members of my family  are very set on there ways and from the minute I was born told my mother I would end up a teen mum. This has made me feel so annoyed, I didn't plan for it to happen this year I was hoping to wait till I had atleast finished college, but it happened and I'm not dwelling on it, but it's made me really worried about fully announcing my pregnancy!

Any of you teen mums feel the same or in the same position? Advice would be great right now!

Don't let them stress you out! I had the same problem with my so called "friends" but it's better to be friendless than have a fake friend

I got a lot of this when I announced with my friends and I'm 24.. I think this happens at any age. You basically have to find the ones that support you and hang out with them. That turned out to be my friends in their late 20s and early thirties. Amazingly I found friends mostly in my family and my fiancé's family. I know it sucks for people to cut you out because a baby is in the picture... But as a mom you tend to lose the friends who don't understand what you are going through.

Yea i feel you 
Im going to be a mom im a teen almost an adult but i wanted to get through school as well first and in the future have a kid. But i dont regret my baby whats so ever thats my motivation now & yea everyone talks down on a pregnant teen but thats where you show them and prove that there wrong. Im going to be a single mom and thats something my family couldnt take at first but im going to do my best and work hard for my baby because he was a blessing never a mistake. Its not gonna be easy but we gotta work at it and stay strong for our little ones 💖👣! 😊

This happens at any age. I'm 22 and even some friends of mine WITH kids told me they didn't invite me because I'm pregnant. I was told I that I wasn't able to do anything with them. They wanted to go hiking or to the beach etc. I couldn't believe my ears. That's when you realize though that some friends aren't meant to be forever. Sadly, you have to go through your friends list at a earlier age. Pick people who understand or have the same interest as you do. You'll find that your interests will begin to change anyways as you get older. You may just end up with that sooner.

I know exactly how you feel. I find myself telling my friends that I can't go do some stuff with them. I've also learned how my real friends are and what friends only wanted me around for when they needed something... But I've had new friends come into my life that actually want to be there. Being a pregnant teen changed a lot for me, but I'm adjusting to it all pretty well for now. Just do what you can and don't push yourself to try to do things you shouldn't be doing. Good luck!

Not a teen but same thing happens in your late 30s 😊 you true friends stick by you your lucky your learning it in your teens who your real friends will be  😊
