When is the best time to express after feeding?

I want to increase my supply (and have some milk for my partner to feed the baby with) but I'm not sure when to do it. Some say do it half hour after a feed. Others say only in the morning. Not sure what to do.

I express about an hour before a feed it then gives my breasts time to fill up again when he wants to eat. I'm sure expressing an hour after would have a similar effect.

Your supply is usually highest in the morning. I found that I usually wouldn't get very much unless I waited an hour since the previous feed, but you can experiment and see what works best for you!
