Who else hates mom?

I'm 30 have my own kid and still don't like this holiday just because it reminds me of my mom.

Shout out to anyone else who had an abusive or indifferent mother, don't forget you're beautiful and don't need a mom in your life to be successful at anything! Including raising your own kids with real love and respect.

I have forgiven my mother for all the ways she wronged me because at the end of the day I know she truly loves me. She was verbally and physically abusive and made me feel like the smallest person in the world in the past, but things are much better now. I still get frustrated with her sometimes, I'm not going to lie but now it's all love and respect. She unfortunately taught me what not to do as a mother.  I'm going to make sure I make my daughter/son feels loved, confident and beautiful inside and out. I want to be a great mom some day.

Little do u know, people do have problems  that they can not fix or change.

My siblings hate me because  I "forgave her".  It takes a strong person  to do this  tbt.  I get it ONLY BECAUSE  I HAVE KIDS  I think.

My mom left my baby ass in the dust when I was 2 because she just couldn't handle not having a life she said. Meaning she wouldn't stay faithful to my dad and didn't want to stop partying. I don't need her and my daddy may not be perfect but he was a better parent than she ever was and a few of my friends moms. #dont need you and don't come back

I envy anyone who had or has a healthy relationship with their mother. Mine is better now than when I was a child/teen. She is a narcissist. Always plays the victim or the hero. I've gotten better at dealing with her.

I never had a good relationship with my mom. She had her demons and she had other priorities that weren't me but it's just something I have to deal with. She died two years ago and it's kinda weird because I don't really miss her, I just wish she could've seen all of the things I've done since she died. She didn't get to see me graduate from high school (she died two days before), she didn't get to see me off to college, she hasn't seen any of my performances, met my boyfriend, etc. and it kinda sucks. She was never proud of me anyway though so it's not like it would matter but yeah I'm not really a fan of this particular holiday. Good moms should always be celebrated.

My mom had her issues. It wasn't always sunshine and rainbows. My siblings and I saw much more than any child should have... But I love my mother with all I am. Through her troubles and addictions. From needing to go away for a few months to get her life together. She is my mother. A strong beautiful woman. Someone who maybe didn't always get it right... But someone who loved me and tried her best to make me a halfway decent human. She did a fantastic job. Thank you to my mom.

I love my mom. However she now lives 6 hours away.  I hate Mother's Day in general.   I'm a giving loving person all year and have never had a Happy Mother's Day.  Just another day in my world.
